Abandoned cart emails

Shopping cart abandonment, customers who have added products to their cart but fail to check out, is a common issue that merchants face every day. In fact, nearly 88% of online shopping carts are abandoned before the customer completes a sale.

A reasonably simple solution to this problem is to send reminder emails to customers who have added products to their cart but failed to check out. These "abandoned cart" emails can be remarkably effective.

Like everything we do at Lemon Squeezy, we want to make things as easy-peasy as possible. So we automatically send abandoned cart emails on your behalf. We send three emails over three days at optimized intervals to try and keep conversions as high as possible. If a customer doesn't want to be reminded about their cart again in the future, there is a "Don't remind me again" link in each email. We charge a small 5% fee for any revenue recovered by this abandoned cart process.

If you want to turn off abandoned cart emails, you can do so from Settings > Recovery. Note: Abandoned cart emails will not be sent for new stores less than a week old.
